By watching and feeling the stomach going up and down as you inhale and exhale will calm you down and you will feel better.

  • To have wholesome diet during pregnancy is very important. One should eat lean meat, fish eggs and have loads of leafy vegetables and fruits. Should also have sufficient intake of milk proteins like yogurt, cottage cheese etc. these foods are very healthy for your mind and also for your body, and would calm you down and prevent pregnancy panic attacks. During pregnancy one has hunger pangs and taste preferences, don’t ignore those pangs for the fear of putting on weight. Not satisfying the hanger can develop irritation and anxiety within the woman. The best thing is to eat in moderation and eat healthy. Pregnancy does not give you the liberty of gorging on unhealthy things like chocolates cakes and other high calorie food. Eat healthy and have a healthy –stress free pregnancy.

  • Exercise is a good stress releaser and reliever and can keep pregnancy panic attacks at bay. By doing appropriate exercises you will not put on a lot of weight and will be good for your health and also child’s health. The expectant mother can join a fitness class, exclusively for pregnant women and do exercises and keep themselves fit and also share their experiences with other expectant mothers in the class.

  • Appropriate rest and sleep is very important to have a healthy pregnancy. The body undergoes self recovery during sleep and is thus the best self-healing and self-recovery technique for the body. Proper sleep can keep half the problems at bay, as it’s during sleep your mind gets relax and you feel refreshed.
